Best Crossfit Shoes for Plantar Fasciitis

Plantar Fasciitis is a common condition that strikes people doing crossfit.  The constant strain and stress that crossfit puts on your foot can accelerate the development of Plantar Fasciitis.  Essentially, what happens is microtrauma occurs in the Plantar Fascia causing inflammation and Plantar Fasciitis.  There are many treatments for Plantar Fasciitis such as stretching, orthotics, cortisone shots and Motrin.  One treatment for people who crossfit is to get into a better crossfit shoe.  What you want for a crossfit shoe when you have Plantar Fasciitis is a shoe with moderate arch support as well as padding in the heel to reduce stress and strain on the plantar fascia.  Below I have listed what I believe to be the best crossfit shoes for people with Plantar Fasciitis.

ASICS Gel Fortius TR Cross Training Shoe–  What you will notice in the shoes I select is that they all have a great deal of padding in the heel to reduce strain on the Plantar Fasciitis.  The ASICS gel is no different with the gel padding in the heel.  I love the ASICS gel in the treatment of plantar fasciitis and I recommend it for almost all cases of plantar fasciitis.
