So the Coronavirus and COVID has caused a massive problem for soccer teams. How do you practice soccer with a team while practicing social distancing of at least six feet? This is a quandary facing many soccer coaches right now. Obviously there are drills that are easy to perform by yourself with simple dribbling and control but are there any interactive drills one can perform? So I have gathered some soccer drills that can be done while practicing social distancing. By the way, people should use masks when performing these drills. All players in this drill should be wearing masks and staying six feet apart.
Here is a video of using long ball drills. I think you could have two people far away from each other. As you can see you can have players far apart still do something other than boring dribbling drills.
Check out this drill where everyone keeps social distancing. This should be very effective for a soccer drill. And the key to the drill is staying apart.
Another first touch and passing drill for soccer players. Again, six feet apart, this is easy to do. First touch and passing skills are soccer skills that can be used with social distancing in the age of Coronavirus.
