As a nurse you are on your feet alot. Sometimes that requires you to wear orthotics to help with flat feet, plantar fasciitis or the myriad of foot conditions that nurses encounter. Finding shoes that can fit your orthotics can be difficult. What do you look for in Nursing Shoes that will comfortably fit orthotics?
The first thing to look for in orthotic friendly nursing shoes is a removable insole. That should be your number one requirement. Other things to look for include a shoe with good depth.However, the number one item to look for in nursing shoes that are orthotic friendly is a removable insole.
