Your a football player (American football) and you need to wear your orthotics. Whether it is because you suffer from flat feet, heel pain or overpronation, you need your football cleats. However, not all football cleats are orthoic friendly, in other words football cleats that have plenty of room for Orthotics. What do you look for in orthotic friendly football cleats? You are looking for football cleats with a removable insoles and that are wide and have enough depth to have room for the orthotics. Sounds simple enough. The other bells and whistles football cleats have is your decision. Those are the three factors you want in football cleats that can acommodate orthotics. There were no Nike, Reebok or Under Armour that met the criteria.

Asics GEL Provost: Whiles these are techinically Lacrosse cleats they can function as a football cleat. This would be ideal for the person suffering from Sever’s disease or Growth Spurt pains, due to the gel technology that reduces pressure and stress. These feature a removable insole (one of the three football cleats I cound find that do)
Adidas Men’s Gridiron: These are the other true “football” cleat that features the removable insole that is ideal for a person who wants to wear their orthotics while playing football.
