Orthotic Friendly Crossfit Shoes

What do you look for in a crossfit shoe that is orthotic friendly?  The same thing you look for in any shoe to make it orthotic friendly.  Orthotic friendly means that it fits your orthotic comfortably, not causing a tight fit.  The ideal way for a shoe to be orthotic friendly is to feature a removeable insole. In fact, that is the primary way for a shoe to be orthotic friendly.  Another way is for the shoe to have great depth. However, most crossfit shoes do not have great depth making orthotic friendly cross fit shoes rare.  Below I have listed some examples of orthotic friendly crossfit shoes:

Inov 8 F Lite 239–  This shoe features a 3mm insole which is removeable.  While the shoe does not have the greatest depth and that insole removed is small, it still qualifies as orthotic friendly due to its removeable insole.

Inov 8 F Lite 185–  This Cross fit shoe also features a removeable insole, though light in size of only 3mm.

Reebok Reebok ONE Trainer 1.0– This shoe features a removeable sock liner that can easily accomodate orthotics.  As Cross Fit shoes go, this shoe is very orthotic friendly.

These are the only Crossfit shoes I was able to find that featured removable insoles that are ideal for orthotics.
