Can you do a Low Dye Taping to yourself?

Low Dye Tapings can be very effective for Plantar Fasciitis and provide a great deal of relief.  The problem is they are tape so they do not last forever, typically they can help for 24-48 hours but then probably need to be removed.  The question that comes up is can I do a Low Dye taping to myself for Plantar Fasciitis.  The answer is yes you can, however it will probably not be as effective as the Low Dye Taping applied by your Podiatrist or Physical Therapist.  Above I have embedded a video on how to apply a low dye taping to yourself.  Now remember one of the keys for this to be effective is to obtain the correct type of tape.  You cannot use just any run of the mill tape.  I highly recommend you use a Kinesology Tape that has the tensile strength to be effective for a sustained period of time as well as support your arch.
