You are on your feet all day and it is causing you a great deal of pain because you cannot find a work boot that can comfortably fit your bunion. You have tried possibly three or four different work boots and none of them did the trick. The first part is you have to know what you are looking for. You want a work boot with a large toe box, the width to accommodate your bunion and a material that will bend to contain your bunion. Those three simple traits are all you need to find a work boot that you can fit over your bunion comfortably.
Here are some examples of work boots that work great for bunions:
Timberland PRO Men’s Pitboss 6″ Soft-Toe Boot: A leather exterior that can bend to accommodate your bunion deformity as well as roomy toe box. Additionally, this boot features a removable insole making it ideal if you have a pair of orthotics you want to slip into the boot.
Catepillar Men’s 2nd shift 6″ Plain Soft Toe Boot: Again a leather exterior with a large toe box combine to bring comfort to even the worst bunion deformity.
Thorogood Men’s Composite Safety Toe Gen Flex– Same as above, leather exterior, this, however, has one of the larger toe boxes you will find.
Timberland PRO Men’s 47001 Power Welt Waterproof 6″ Steel Toe Box– This is a steel toe boot. Now steel toes are always going to be trouble for bunion sufferers because the material in the toe area will not bend to the bunion deformity. So the key for looking for a steel toed boot to cover a bunion deformity is a large toe box and the Timberland PRO Men’s 47001 was the largest I could find for people in need of a steel toe boot.
