UGGS are a great boot choice if you suffer from a bunion. Why are UGGS great for bunions? Simple; the material they are constructed with is conducive to bunions. It protects the bunions reducing stress and strain on the bunion area, which is what causes the bursa to cause pain. Additionally, UGGS tend to be wide enough to comfortably fit bunions. You really cannot go wrong with most any UGG boot you choose if you have a bunion. Here are what I consider the most bunion friendly UGG boots:
UGGS Women’s Classic Short Bunions– Again that sheep skin seems to have been manufactured for a women with bunions. Add to that the EVA outsole which is flexible enough to contour to the specific shape of your bunion formation and that makes the Classic ideal for women with bunions.
UGGS Australia Bailey Bow Boot– Again you have the sheep skin, but take a look at the toe box and the shape of the toe box which provides plenty of room for bunion sufferers. A large and roomy toe box provides plenty of room and support for even the worst bunion deformity.
UGG Women’s Australia Josette Boots– This boot will provide a roomy expereience for the worst bunion deformity. The sheep skin sockliner provides comfort for a bunion. (sorry if this is redundant.) Essentially you should be fine with whatever UGG you choose when you have a bunion.
