Working retail with flat feet is not the perfect match. Your feet can tire and fatigue over the course of the day. But there are some shoes that can be worn for retail that will help supply you the arch support you need. Remember, when you have flat feet, you do not want a shoe that provides so much arch support that it causes your feet to hurt. You want a shoe that will contour to the individual shape of your foot. Below I have listed what I believe are the best shoes for people who work retail with flat feet:
Dansko Elise– This shoe features a removable PU footbed, which will never flatten out over the life of the shoe. In other words, this shoe will provide both consistent and strong arch support for the lifetime of the shoe.
Reebok Work Jorie– This shoe is one of my favorites for people who work retail with flat feet. This shoe features a removable EVA insole. I love EVA for people with flat feet as it is the same material orthotics are made out of. What EVA will do is conform to the individual shape of your foot and then provide arch support for your specific foot’s shape.
Klogs mission– Looking for a shoe that is similar to a croc? I like this shoe better than Crocs because it provides cushioning and solid arch support. It does not hurt that it has a ton of five star reviews. This shoe will provide you comfort, in contrast to the crosslite material which may not give you as much comfort as your foot may need.
