What are the best over the counter orthotics for children? There are many on the market and for the most part it depends on what your child’s issues or goals are for the orthotic. Foot minders kids orthotics– This is a popular brand of children’s orthotics. I personally feel they are too hard and feature to strong of an arch that you will have trouble getting your child to wear them. There are better orthotic options out there than this. But if you are looking for an orthotic with a strong high arch this would be the orthotic to purchase.
Pedag Bambini– This is one of my favorites. This flexible orthotic also features an arch. But the flexible material used in the orthotic makes the chances high that your child will be able to wear the orthotic without complaints of pain or foot fatigue. If your child is growing too fast, this orthotic can adjust to your child’s foot because of its flexible design.
Spenco Kids Polysorb– If your child’s feet hurt when they walk consider the polysorb. This orthotic specializes in shock absorption using Spenco’s patented technology. This orthotic also has an arch present, but the strength of this orthotic is shock absorption. If your child is overweight this would be the orthotic to get as well.
