Best Orthotics for Tennis Players

As a tennis player you place a lot of stress on your foot.  Through the cutting, running and jumping this can lead to many foot problems.  This can lead to problems ranging from Plantar Fasciitis to Tendonitis.  One of the ways to combat foot issues is orthotics or insoles in your shoes.  Orthotics can help with shock absorption and reduce stress placed on your foot.  Now there are many orthotics on the market but a lot of them would break and wear down under the use in Tennis that is required.  Below I have written what I believe are the best orthotics for Tennis Players:

Sof Sol Performance Insoles–  An orthotic created with sports in mind.  This orthotic provides a great deal of padding and shock absorption.  If you are looking for an orthotic to be used specifically for shock absorption to reduce stress on your foot this is an orthotic to consider.  This orthotic does lack a bit when it comes to biomechanical control.

Lynco Sports Orthotics–  Another Sports orthotic created specifically for sports such as Tennis.  Now the Lynco orthotic is different from the Sof Sol as it provides greater biomechanical control. So if your issue is overpronation or tendonitis this may be an orthotic to consider.  While these orthotics do not provide the shock absorption as the Sof Sol it provides greater biomchanical control which is heavily based on what you are looking for.

Superfeet Orthotics– This is another orthotic or insole created for sports, and is probably the one that creates the best balance between comfort, shock absorption and biomechanical control.    The one advantage these orthotics have is they can be created specifically for specific foot types.  They have an orthotic for high arches and an orthotic for flat feet, so you are able to get an individual orthotic specifically for your foot.
