Men’s dress shoes tend to be tight and orthotics tend be wide. This does not make for an easy fit. However, there are some brands of orthotics that are ideal to fit into a man’s dress shoes. These orthotics tend to be specially made and are thin enough to fit into a man’s dress shoe. So below I have listed the best orthotics or insoles for a man’s dress shoe:
Superfeet Premium Black Insole– First off the black color and thin profile will make this orthotic barely noticeable. At the same time this orthotic still engenders some motion control with a deep heel cup and cushioning on the top layer. I personally feel this is the best orthotic for dress shoes as it is able to combine both the function needed while providing cushioning. Whether it is plantar fasciitis or flat feet, if you want an orthotic to fit into a dress shoe this is a strong choice.
The other orthotic that I would recommend for men’s dress shoes would be the PowerStep Slimtech– Powerstep is one of my favorite brands of orthotics as it too is able to combine function and comfort. I also appreciate the top cover poron which can reduce a lot of stress that the foot would feel during ambulation.
