The Podiatrist makes a cast of your foot and generates an orthotic specifically designed for your foot. However, these orthotics can be very expensive ranging from 450 to 600 dollars, when in a lot of cases an over the counter orthotic is all you really need. Now the over the counter orthotic you need is most likely not for sale in WalMart.
