Oxfords can be worn when you have a bunion, but some oxfords are better than other oxfords. What you want to look for in Oxfords when you have a bunion are two things. You want an oxford wide enough to allow enough space for the bunion, but you also want a toe box that is large enough so there is no rubbing or scraping of the bunion. Frye Jamie Wingtip– On this Oxford take a long look at the toe box. Notice how the toe box has depth to it and rounds off as opposed to a tight fit. This type of toe box will help keep pressure off the bunion deformity decreasing the pain you will feel.
Rockport City Smart Wing Tip Oxford– Now this Oxford has an advantage because not only does it have an ample toe box, but it can also be purchased in extra wide. There are some Oxfords like more Rockports, where you can order extra wide shoes. These shoes tend to be ideal for people with bunions.
Deer Stags Williamsburg– Again here you have a large and expansive toe box with a shoe that can be fit to the width of your foot.
Frye Dakota Oxford– While this shoe does not fit to width it probably has one of the larger toe boxes that you will find in an Oxford
