Does Dr. Scholl’s Ingrown Toenail Pain Reliever work?

Does Dr. Scholl’s Ingrown Toenail Pain Reliever kit work?  The answer is yes and no.  The only way to definitively stop an ingrown toenail from hurting is to have it removed by a Podiatrist.  However, if for whatever reason you do not want to have it done, this is the best ingrown toenail reliever kit on the market.

The kit works by having the gel to soften the nails and then retainer rings to take pressure off the toenail.  A great idea is if you want to do bathroom surgery would be to soak your toenail, then place the gel on the area.  Then take a toenail nipper and trim out the corner, that will be about as little pain as you can have without a lidocaine injection.  So, while I think a Podiatrist is the way to go, Dr. Scholl’s Ingrown toenail pain reliever kit can work as long as you temper your expectations.
