When you work retail you are on your feet for a long period of time. This can lead to many conditions from plantar fasciitis, to foot fatigue. There are many orthotics and insoles on the market. Which are the best for people who work retail? What you are looking for in an orthotic or insole for someone who works retail is an orthotic or insole that is durable enough to still hold strength in spite of eight hours a day of walking and standing. Spenco Rx Orthotics– If you are looking for an orthotic to give you comfort and shock absorption and that alone, Spenco is the way to go. They have a patented technology top cover that is excellent at absorbing shock. This is superior to any of the Dr. Scholls gel insoles. Where this orthotic lacks is motion control and the arch support is not as solid as other insoles on the market.
New Balance Insoles– I bet you did not even think New Balance sold orthotics but they do. They have multiple different insoles depending on your foot structure. They supply a good support and cushioning as well.
Powerstep Orthotic Insoles– This is the brand that is highly recommended and sold by many Podiatrists in their office. This orthotic gives you the best of both worlds with a polypropilene shell and a poron top cover. If one of your problems is that your feet feel fatigue this is the orthotic for you as the this orthotic will almost give you a propulsion type feel during ambulations.
