Best Orthotics or Insoles for Fallen Arches

It sucks to have fallen arches or flatfeet.  The best way to combat fallen arches is via orthotics or insoles.  Orthotics or insoles will help support your arch at the same time reducing the pain you feel.  But what are the best orthotics or insoles for fallen arches?  Well, the best is to have a custom orthotic created by a Podiatrist.  The Podiatrist will create a specific impression of your foot and then creating an orthotic specifically formulated to help support the arch in your foot.  However, these orthotics can cost as much as 500 dollars.  You should check with your insurance because in some instances they are covered.  If they are not covered a lot of times most of your issues with fallen arches can be resolved with a orthotic or insole that is over the counter.  Below I have listed what I believe are the best orthotics or insoles that are over the counter for fallen arches:

Superfeet Black Premium Insoles– Specifically designed for those with low arches, this orthotic can help support your arch, while not placing undo pressure in the area.  What you want to avoid when you have a fallen arch is an orthotic with a high arch as that will just lead your foot to pain and fatigue.  You want an orthotic like this black premium insole with a low arch while providing solid support.

Powerstep Premium Insoles–  My favorite orthotic on the market and the one most Podiatrists recommend and sell.  This orthotic has a poron top cover with a polypropilene shell that helps support the arch while providing a comfortable fit.  Suffice it to say I think this is the best orthotic currently on the market for people with fallen arches.
