Some people purchase orthotics or insoles for arch support. Others just want their insoles or orthotics to provide shock absorption or cushioning to help reduce the stress your foot feels during weight bering. Most orthotics promise shock absorption but which ones actually deliver? I place two orthotics when it comes with shock absorption above the others:
One is the Powerstep Orthotics– These orthotics obtain most of their shock absorption from their poron cover. This poron cover helps reduce stress and strain brought about by orthotic. This orthotic also accomplishes shock absorption with a polypropylene shell, which provides the core to the orthotic.
The other orthotic is the Spenco Polysorb Orthotics– This orthotic has no hard shell to worry about. These orthotics are strictly for shock absorption utilizing Spenco’s unique technology. If you are looking for shock absorption and just shock absorption Spenco is the way to go.
