Do Superfeet Orthotics work?

Superfeet orthotics are an effective treatment for every condition from plantar fasciitis to flat feet.  Now, these orthotics will not work for everybody.  Superfeet orthotics tend to be very effective for athletes and very active people.  They are lighweight and easy to fit in shoes.  Now you have to be careful as certain Superfeet orthotics are used for certain conditions.  Now, can Superfeet work if you are not an athlete?  Yes, of course they can.  Conditions I would avoid Superfeet orthotics for are severe flat feet (arch is not strong and the heel cup to shallow), Tarsal Tunnel, or any condition where you are looking for secondary biomechanical control, such as ankle pain as well.  Below I have listed the condition and what Superfeet orthotic you should choose for that condition.

Superfeet Green Orthotics- This orthotic is ideal for those with medium to high arches as it has a thicker profile. This is a nice orthotic for athletes, hikers or industrial workers who are on their feet for 8 hours or so a day.

Superfeet Blue Premium Insoles– Thinner profile ideal for people with medium arches and athletes in cleated sports, as well as casual or dress shoes.

Superfeet Black Insoles- Designed for people with flat feet, this also has a thinner profile making it ideal for those with tight fitting shoes such as dress shoes, casual, cleated, or cycling footwear.

Superfeet Purple Insoles– Ideal for any arch type, and for hockey skates, figure skates, and womens boots.

Superfeet Orange Insoles–  Good for men with flat feet in athletic competition as well as industrial activity.  Basically, if you are on your feet  for greater than eight hours.
