You wear Wedge High Heels, and you like their look. But you also suffer from foot pain. What can you do? One thing you can do is to wear orthotics with the wedge shoes. You are probably thinking there are no orthotics that you can wear with wedges. You would be wrong. There are some orthotics specifically formulated for high heels. Below I have listed a couple examples of orthotics that can be worn with wedges:
Footminders Catwalk orthotics– These orthotics offer extra padding in the metatarsal area of the foot, which is where most of the stress is caused by wedges. This also provides a firm but comfortable arch support.
Powerstep Slender Fit Fashion Orthotic insole– These are my favorite orthotics for wedges as I feel these do the best job at redistributing forces as well as supporting the arch. It also has a heel cradle so if you suffer from flat feet this would help control your biomechanics better, and would be the orthotic to purchase for your wedges.
Superfeet Orthotics for High Heel Shoes- This orthotic is more expensive than the other types of orthotics. The one true advanatage it has is it is made of graphite, which will allow it to be very durable with little issues. If you are worried about having trouble of your orthotic holding up this would be the orthotic. I would only get this if you are overweight as this should help maintain the orthotic.
