Best Orthotics or Insoles for Neuropathy

Before we begin it must be stated that no insole or orthotic alone will cure your neuropathy.  There are creams, pills and lotions that will be more effective in the treatment of Neuropathy.  Ideally, you should see a Podiatrist to help treat your Neuropathy.  Orthotics or insoles should be seen as an adjunct to your other treatments.  What you want in an orthotic or insole to treat Neuropathy is an insole that will conform to your foot; you are not worried about arch support as much as you want comfort.  You want a well padded insole or orthotic.  A lot of times if you suffer from Diabetes insurance will pay for you to have an insole, so before buying any below consult your insurance company as they may pay for one if you see a Podiatrist.  If not, here are some inexpensive alteranative insoles or orthotics for the treatment of Neuropathy:

New Balance IPR 3030 Pressure Relief Insoles–  If you are a Diabetic and suffer from Neuropathy, this should be the pair of orthotics that you purchase.  These were designed with diabetics and Neuropathy in mind.  These orthotics will help off load some of the higher pressure areas of your foot and reduce the stress there, thus reducing the pain associated with Neuropathy.

Diabetic Comfort Gel Full Length Insoles– Again these were designed with a Diabetic in mind, although I prefer the New Balance.  But if you have had previous success with the Dr Scholl’s massaging gel insoles, these may be the orthotic to purchase.  The gel can create almost a soothing senation to decrease the burning pain that you feel with Neuropathy.

Liquid Orthotic Massaging Shoe Insole–  If you want to try an out of the box idea for treating your Neuropathy and have failed with traditional orthotics or insoles, this liquid massaging shoe insole maybe what you are looking for.  This insole provides almost a massage type feel to your foot to help reduce the burning pain associated with Neuropathy.
